Get to know Certified Nurse-Midwife Elizabeth Ann Quinkert, who serves patients in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

As the region’s most experienced certified nurse-midwife, Elizabeth works at Tree of Life Family Birth Center in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She specializes in natural childbirth, deliveries, and fertility counseling. She also provides care for well women, annual exams, preconceptual counseling, contraceptive services, and prenatal care. After she gave birth to her first child, Elizabeth became inspired to become a nurse-midwife. It was a bad experience and she knew that women deserved better. She met with a nurse-midwife before having her second child and knew immediately that it was the field she wanted to go into. With compassion and dedication to changing the lives of women, she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the Indiana University Southeast School of Nursing. She then went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing degree and her CNM designation from the University of Kentucky College of Nursing.
